This spring I was struggling with my pool clarity.I was hitting the pool with everything I could and didn't feel like using floc (since you vacuum that to waste and lose about 1/3 of your pool water).I wish I had a few weeks to try this product separately, but my son's BD party was in only four days, so I added this product and followed the instructions.The next day I triple shocked the pool and used clarifier (I had been shocking and using clarifier with only modest success the past week).Within two days the pool was perfectly clear.Was it this stuff that got my sand filter back into action or was it the triple shocking?I can't be 100% sure, but after five years of never cleaning my sand filter, I would give this product the benefit of the doubt.
