Intex Pool Maintenance Kit Review

We have a 2700 gallon EZ Set above ground pool.I ordered this set because a vacuum at a local pool supply was $30!So for the price, I figured this set was worth a try.

The set comes with a telescoping rod that attaches to both the vacuum and the skimmer head.The vacuum's suction power depends on the water pressure of your hose.So if you have low water pressure, it was not work as well for you.It works very good for me, and is the perfect size to skim the entire pool floor.Afterwards, simply empty the attached bag, and allow to dry.The bag is a little flimsy, ours had to have a small hole sewed up after a few uses.But it is working just fine now!I like the idea of using a knee high panty hose, I will try that when my bag gives out.

The skimmer head is great.We use it both with and without the telescoping pole.It catches debris from any depth in the pool, and works best when skimming the top (where everything floats up to eventually :)

All in all, a great set for the price!
