Little Giant 5-APCP Automatic Pool Cover Pump Review

Got this pump when they installed our pool in 2000.Pump still works but the coating on electrical cord on top of pump is coming off and a safety issue.I was curious about the reviews that said their pump lasted a winter. We use several pumps for our construction company & no pump will last if it is allowed to freeze.These pumps are meant to be placed in the water & cover pumped off & then pump taken out.That is how we used ours in the winter & as I stated it lasted 8 years.
